Acid washing

The purpose of acid washing is to remove deposits and polish the surfaces. An acidic detergent also protects the surfaces from corrosion, passivating them from the impact of alkali and chlorine.

Acid washing is required in situations where inorganic dirt, i.e. limestone or milk of lime, has deposited on the surfaces. Carried out at least once a week, acid washing prevents the deposits from reattaching themselves while polishing the surfaces.
